Missed appointments, or appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of a standard physiotherapy follow-up session, except in the case of short follow-ups where the cancellation fee is the cost of a short follow-up session.
Exceptions: Emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. If you have such an issue which prevents you from attending your appointment, please contact as soon as possible. We reserve the right to waive the cancellation fee at our discretion.
Reminder System: To help you remember your appointments booking confirmations are sent automatically via email. Please ensure that we have your current contact information on file to receive these booking confirmations. Do note they may end up in your junk folder! If requested, appointment reminder emails can also be sent at a desired period(s) before your appointment.
This privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information.
Collection of personal information: We collect personal information directly from you when you provide it to us by phone, email or in the clinic, or when it is provided to us by other clinicians and services with your permission for example through medical imaging or referrals. The types of personal information we may collect include, but are not limited to: Name, address and contact information, date of birth, medical history, general health information and information relating to the treatment.
Payment information: Card payment information remains with the card processing company and is only accessible securely and does not store information directly on any of our devices. Storage of this information falls under the privacy policy of the card processing company.
Use of personal information: We use your personal information for the purpose of providing you with physiotherapy services and related healthcare services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care, and for administrative purposes, such as scheduling appointments, billing and payment processing, and communication with you regarding your treatment and clinic services.
Disclosure of personal information: With your agreement we may disclose your personal information to third-party service providers such as when doing referrals to other clinicians or for medical imaging. These service providers have their own privacy policies in place.
Security safeguards: We take reasonable precautions to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. We use physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect your personal information.
Retention of personal information: We retain your medical notes until either you request them to be permanently deleted, or until 8 years after I am no longer providing physiotherapy services. This can be shortened if requested, though it can often prove useful to see notes from years ago should a similar or related problem occur.
Your rights and choices: You have the right to access, correct, or update your personal information held by us. You may also request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal or contractual obligations. To exercise your rights or make inquiries about our privacy practices, please contact by email using the contact page or in writing to the clinic address.
